New patients are accepted only for gastroscopy, colonoscopy, consultation preceding intragastric baloon placement, Helicobacter pylori detection test and sugar intolerance test (lactose, fructose, sorbitol, manitol).
A number of symptoms require that you seek an emergency consultation with a gastroenterologist. Such symptoms include blood vomiting, black or bloody stools, jaundice, unexplained weight loss… Other signs such as recurrent or persistent stomach ache, food regurgitation (reflux), heartburn, diarrhea problems, chronic constipation, anal pain… are sometimes downplayed. They could, however, be the source of a bad quality of life, but also and above all, reveal an underlying severe digestive disease. It is therefore indicated to look into these issues. Finally, preventive examinations such as screening for colorectal cancer starting at age 50 (even sooner in case of family history) or for some contagious liver diseases may be suggested to you.
« Upon graduating as a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) in 1998, I practiced general medicine for three years. Thereafter I specialized in gastroenterology, which I have been practicing since 2007. My consultations are based on a personalized and global approach of digestive disorders. If you are prescribed an endoscopic exam, it will be performed in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, with the support of a qualified and attentive staff. You will be taken care of promptly, even more so thanks to parking availability in the direct vicinity of the office and because of the absence of paperwork. »
